Destruction of a World Order

World order is a result of alliances and agreements, trust and trade.

We are seeing the destruction of all 4 factors by one major player, all as a result of misguided belief in his omnipotence, and hatred of those who raise an inappropriate (in his view) question or challenge.

To add to the fuel for destruction is the blind obedience required by him of all his party adherents in both chambers of lawmakers, said chambers in which he has slender majorities.

To reinforce his hand are the current holders of office in his government, all who have sworn absolute obedience to him. This might be just as well because almost all have no qualifications to add to their current posts, apart from hatred, violence, and belief in the lies and untruths that are the hallmark of this administration.

Tariffs seem to be his hand of strength, said tariffs which will lead to economic decline within his country to either a major recession or worse. When the streets are filled with the hungry, the unemployed, and the disposed there is real prospect of Civil War.

There once was a time when his country was well respected and supported internationally, when the seaways of the world were held open by a benign presence of military forces via ships, where free trade existed, and where his supporting ultra-rich conspirators made almost legal profits.

So where is the opposition?? Have the Democrats tossed in the towel? Waiting for the administration to self-implode will be too late to gain the support of the people.

So, raise up your hand and be counted. This "son of satan" must be reigned in and waiting for the half term election in '26 will probably be too late for an opposition party to be supported by the people.
